Kuwait’s IFA Hotels & Resorts (IFA) has again shown its ongoing commitment to investing in South Africa by officially unveiling the much-anticipated Zimbali Lakes Resort. The 300-hectare development, which will provide in excess of 2,700 residential opportunities, will be developed by IFA over the coming decade. This resort will consist of five main nodes that between them will provide multi-generational, mixeduse offerings to suit the specific needs of a broad range of investors. It will cater to both commercial and residential needs, and will include a 750-unit lifestyle retirement village. The signature feature from which the resort gets its name is the 30-hectare lake that is to be created adjacent to theTongaat River, providing recreational water-sport opportunities and significantly enhancing views from surrounding real estate.
