KUDLA lubi ukwebiwa kwemfuyo KwaZulu-Natal. Lokhu kufakazelwa yizibalo zobugebengu ezikhishwe yiziphathimandla zamaphoyisa ePhalamende ngoLwesibili.

Zingu-12 iziteshi zamaphoyisa zaKwaZulu-Natal kwezingu-30 ezweni lonke okubikwe kuzona amacala amaningi okwebiwa kwemfuyo.

Izindawo ezihamba phambili esifundazweni yi-Utrecht, Bergville, Taylors Halt, Ladysmith, Elandslaagte, Estcourt, Nongoma, Vryheid, Ezakheni, Msinga Ematsheni neMpendle.

Ngo-2016/17, angu-5 959, amacala okwebiwa kwemfuyo abikiwe uma kuqhathaniswa nangu-6 322 kwisabelomali salo nyaka.

Isifundazwe esizihola phambili yi-Eastern Cape njengoba ngonyaka odlule sibe namacala angu-6 023 kwathi kulo nyaka aba ngu-6 217.

Kodwa okuqaphelekayo wukuthi ayanda amacala okwebiwa kwemfuyo ezweni lonke uma kubhekwa iminyaka engu-10 eyedlule.

Elinye lamaphini kaKhomishana wamaphoyisa kuzwelonke, uLt General Fannie Masemola, lithe bakhathazekile ngenxa yokwenyuka kwamacala okwebiwa kwemfuyo.

“Kusukela eminyakeni engu- 10 edlule ayanyuka amacala okwebiwa kwemfuyo ezweni lonke. Izifundazwe ezihamba phambili yi-Eastern Cape neKwaZuluNatal,” kusho uMasemola.

Uthe ziningi izingqinamba ezidala ukuthi linyuke izinga lokwebiwa kwemfuyo kubalwa nokuthi abanikazi bayo bayaphuza ukuvula amacala uma ilahlekile.

“Imfuyo ifike iduke abanikazi bayo bangabiki emaphoyiseni bacabange ukuthi isazobuya baze babike ngemuva kwezinsuku okwenza kube nzima ukuthi itholakale,” kusho uMasemola.

Esitatimendeni esithunyelelwe abezindaba ngoLwesibili, inhlangano yabalimi, i-Agri SA izwakalise ukukhathazeka mayelana nokwenyuka kwezinga lokwebiwa kwemfuyo nokubulawa kwababalimi.
