Why, Tinkler?

I really thought that Eric Tinkler would finish the project that he started at Cape Town City. This was really his opportunity to achieve something great over a three-year period and not become a yo-yo coach, which could happen if he doesn’t succeed at Supersport United. He obviously had reasons for leaving and money plays a massive part if you get bought out of your contract. Your second season is always your most difficult and it would have been fascinating to watch and see how City would have coped under Tinkler.

The sad part is that we would never know how this fairy tale would have ended if he stayed.
