At 38, ‘Yeye’ has resisted the urge to hang up his boots and is still going on at Highlands Park, and looking like he hasn’t lost any of his appetite for the game. Always puts in the effort into his game and during the World Cup he had completed the second of what would go on to be eight satisfacto­ry years at Kaizer Chiefs. He counts seven trophies won from his time at Naturena and added another two at SuperSport United. His Bafana Bafana caps count is 54. Letsholony­ane already runs a pub with his close friend Siphiwe Tshabalala in Dobsonvill­e. football intelligen­ce and the sweetest first touch in domestic football, then Surprise Moriri rises above the rest in that category. His ability to find spaces in compact areas and then make late runs into the box to score won the hearts of all those that watched him play. He played for Sundowns for a dozen years and then had a spell with Highlands Park at the tail end of his playing career. His internatio­nal career wasn’t spectacula­r and made the last of his 35 appearance­s during the 2010 World Cup. He retired three years ago and is still at Sundowns as a coach in the club’s MDC team. the joint third highest scorer ever. He is now a developmen­t coach.
