PROPERTY-RELATED INCIDENTS: TOWN AREA
THEFT - WATERFRONT DR (Thurs 6 July @ 14h00) - Theft of cellphone was reported to our control room. Phone was stolen from table, no description available of suspect. SAPS were notified for a case to be opened.
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN STR (Sat 8 July @ 02h26) - Officers responded to panic alarm. Suspect was apprehended for shoplifting but complainants declined to open a case. Suspect was released.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - HIGH STR (Sun 9 July @ 06h50) - Client reported seeing suspect on neighbouring property. Officer responded and apprehended the suspect in the property. Force marks were found on window and sliding door. Case was opened and suspect was charged.
PARADISE / KNYSNA HEIGHTS / HEUWELKRUIN
BURGLARY - RIDGE DR (Thurs 6 June @ 20h10) - Residents disturbed a suspect in the house. Suspect was chased by the resident and fled empty-handed. No case opened.
THEFT OUT M.V. - MEYER STR (Sat 8 July @ 08h23) - Client reported a break-in at guests’ vehicle. A handbag was reported missing. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.
THEFT - CIRCULAR DR (Sun 9 July @ 01h09) - Client reported theft of 2 laptops from home after the domestic worker allowed people into the home after claiming to be family members. When owner arrived home later, the laptops were missing. Case was opened with SAPS.
OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA
BURGLARY - MILKWOOD DR (Thurs 6 July @ 18h43) - Resident reported seeing someone on the property trying to break-in. Officers were dispatched and found garage door forced open as well as security gate to kitchen. Keyholder responded and unable to determine if anything missing. No case was opened.
SHOPLIFTING - HOLIDAY CRES (Mon 10 July @ 19h39) - Store manager requested assistance after suspect was caught for shoplifting. Suspect then paid for the items and no case was opened.
FISHER HAVEN / HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD
THEFT - MARLIN DR (Thurs 6 July @ 05h39) - Officer responded to alarm and found door and window forced open. Keyholder was notified and reported nothing missing.
THEFT - KENNET STR (Wed 12 July @ 10h15) - Client reported that their gate motor was stolen sometime during the night. SAPS were notified for a case to be opened.
THE HEADS / LEISURE ISLAND
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - GEORGE REX DR (Thurs 6 July @ 08h37) - Keyholder reported an attempted break-in. Force marks were found on windows and door handle broken. No access was gained to the home, nothing stolen.
THEFT - GEORGE REX DR (Mon 10 July @ 10h14) - Client reported the theft of electrical cables and copper pipes. Allsound Officers responded and apprehended the suspect in Hunters Home. He was found possession of cables, bolt cutters and rubber gloves. Suspect was handed over to SAPS.

THEFT - ARMSTRONG CLOSE (Thurs 6 July @ 16h25) - Client reported that someone had been on her premises, walking stolen from the deck. No case opened.
BRENTON-ON-SEA / LAKE BRENTON
BURGLARY - WATSONIA STR (Mon 10 July @ 04h02) - Officer responded to alarm signal from garage, found window open and garage door forced. Owner confirmed that a bicycle was missing. Officers searched the area and recovered the bicycle. No suspects found.
