THEFT OUT M.V. - MAIN RD (T­hurs 28 Sep­tem­ber @ 01h58) - Client pho­ned to re­port car was bro­ken in­to and a suit­ca­se sto­len. Of­fi­cers re­spon­ded and suit­ca­se was re­co­ve­r­ed ne­ar­by and han­ded o­ver to SAPS.

THEFT - UNION STR (T­hurs 28 Sep­tem­ber @ 14h35) - Client te­lep­ho­ned to re­port that a cel­lp­ho­ne was sto­len from coun­ter ap­prox­i­ma­te­ly 2 hours e­ar­lier by sus­pect po­sing as shop­per. CCTV foota­ge was re­vie­wed and des­crip­ti­on bro­ad­cast. No ca­se was o­pe­ned.

SHOPLIFTING - MAIN RD (Sat 30 Sep­tem­ber @ 12h48) - All­sound guards re­por­ted that a 12-ye­ar-old c­hild was caug­ht shoplifting R600 worth of clo­thing. Mat­ter was han­ded o­ver to SAPS to furt­her de­al with.

THEFT - REMEMBRANCE DR (Sun 1 Oc­to­ber @ 04h21) - Gu­ard stop­ped our Re­spon­se to re­quest as­sis­tan­ce af­ter 2 sus­pects re­por­ted­ly en­te­red a guest room and sto­le shoes and ma­keup. A­re­as was se­ar­ched, sus­pects not found.

THEFT - FICHAT STR (Sun 1 Oc­to­ber @ 09h48) - Client re­por­ted that a guest chec­ked in to guest­hou­se and then sto­le a TV. Mat­ter was re­por­ted to SAPS to o­pen a ca­se.

THEFT OUT M.V. - COVE STR (Mon 2 Oc­to­ber @ 09h55) - Client re­por­ted that a lap­top was sto­len from vehi­cle on F­ri­day 29 Sep­tem­ber. CCTV foota­ge of the sus­pect was re­cei­ved and pas­sed on to SAPS CPU mem­bers. Both sus­pects we­re ar­res­ted a week la­ter ba­sed on i­den­ti­fi­ca­ti­on.

THEFT - LONG STR (Tu­es 3 Oc­to­ber @ 11h59) - Re­si­dent re­por­ted that i­tems we­re sto­len from their gar­den so­meti­me o­ver pre­ce­ding month. I­tems mis­sing we­re a kett­le, ho­se pi­pe and pool net. No ca­se o­pe­ned.

AT­TEMP­TED THEFT - CIRCULAR DR (Fri 29 Sep­tem­ber @ 10h29) - Client re­por­ted seeing a man run­ning from pre­mi­ses. Des­crip­ti­on was pro­vi­ded and sus­pect was ap­pre­hen­ded. Sus­pect had drop­ped a bag of sto­len cop­per pi­pes on the pre­mi­ses w­hen he was dis­tur­bed. No ca­se o­pe­ned, sus­pect re­le­a­sed.

BURGLARY - OLD CA­PE RD (Tu­es

3 Oc­to­ber @ 12h15) - Client re­por­ted 2 sus­pi­ci­ous per­sons car­rying pos­si­ble sto­len i­tems. Of­fi­cers re­spon­ded and ap­pre­hen­ded the two. They we­re la­ter lin­ked to a bre­ak-in at ne­ar­by pro­per­ty. Sus­pects we­re han­ded o­ver to SAPS and char­ged.

BURGLARY - WELBEDACHT LA­NE (Sun 1 Oc­to­ber @ 19h39) - Client re­por­ted that the­re was an in­tru­der in her ho­me. En­try was gai­ned through win­dow but in­tru­der fled w­hen dis­tur­bed. No­thing re­por­ted mis­sing.

THEFT OUT M.V. - DIKKOP STR (Fri 29 Sep­tem­ber @ 07h54) - Client re­por­ted that gue­sts vehi­cle was bro­ken in­to. A bag con­tai­ning an ex­ter­nal hard d­ri­ve, LED Len­ser and Ca­me­ra was sto­len. No ca­se was o­pe­ned.

SHOPLIFTING - HO­LI­DAY CRESC (Fri 29 Sep­tem­ber @ 16h06) - Client re­que­sted as­sis­tan­ce af­ter 3 wo­men we­re caug­ht shoplifting. Sus­pects we­re de­tai­ned and han­ded o­ver to SAPS. Ca­se was o­pe­ned.

AT­TEMP­TED BURGLARY - SALIE STR (Tu­es 3 Oc­to­ber @ 10h00) - Client pho­ned to re­port that they had at­temp­ted bre­ak-in at 02h00 in the mor­ning. Sus­pects tried to for­ce o­pen the ga­ra­ge door. No access was gai­ned and no­thing was sto­len.

THEFT OUT M.V. - WAENHOUT STR (T­hurs 28 Sep­tem­ber @ 00h13) - Re­si­dent te­lep­ho­ned to re­port car was bro­ken in­to and car ra­dio sto­len. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied.

THEFT - VIGILANCE DR (T­hurs 28 Sep­tem­ber @ 04h39) - Re­spon­se Of­fi­cer stop­ped sus­pi­ci­ous per­son in the a­rea. Man was found car­rying a buc­ket of new fis­hing e­quip­ment. I­tems we­re la­ter lin­ked to theft from a bo­at in the a­rea. Sus­pect was char­ged.

THEFT - KRUISFONTEIN N2 (Sat 30 Sep­tem­ber @ 21h07) - Client re­que­sted as­sis­tan­ce af­ter i­tems we­re sto­len from farm and vehi­cle trac­ked to N2. Vehi­cle was stop­ped and SAPS no­ti­fied. Ca­se was o­pe­ned and sus­pects ta­ken in for que­s­ti­o­ning. AT­TEMP­TED BURGLARY - PROGRESS RD (Mon 2 Oc­to­ber @ 09h22) - Client re­por­ted an at­temp­ted bre­ak-in. Win­dow was for­ced o­pen and bur­glar bars da­ma­ged. No en­try gai­ned and no­thing sto­len.

BURGLARY - PARADE STR (Mon 2 Oc­to­ber @ 15h50) - Client te­lep­ho­ned to re­port that they had a bre­ak-in so­me ti­me o­ver the wee­kend at their flat. A mi­cro­wa­ve was re­por­ted mis­sing. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied to o­pen a ca­se.

THEFT - SPRINGER STR (T­hurs 28 Sep­tem­ber @ 13h39) - Client re­que­sted as­sis­tan­ce af­ter sus­pect en­te­red his ga­ra­ge and sto­le a drill and grin­der. Client would o­pen ca­se with SAPS.

BURGLARY / THEFT OUT M.V. BARACUDA STR (Sat 30 Sep­tem­ber @ 04h14) - Client re­por­ted his vehi­cle was bro­ken in­to. Sus­pect for­ced o­pen ga­ra­ge door, then bro­ke win­dow of vehi­cle. Client re­por­ted on­ly a pair of socks ap­pea­red mis­sing. Ca­se was o­pe­ned.

BURGLARY - CONEY GLEN DR (Wed 4 Oc­to­ber @ 07h20) - Client re­por­ted that so­meo­ne bro­ke in­to the hou­se du­ring the nig­ht. En­try was via s­lig­ht­ly a­jar s­li­ding door. Hand­bag and cel­lp­ho­ne we­re re­por­ted mis­sing. SAPS we­re in­for­med and a ca­se was o­pe­ned.

BRENTON ON SEA / LAKE BRENTON

BURGLARY - WK GRO­BLER STR (Tu­es 3 Oc­to­ber @ 07h41) - Of­fi­cer re­spon­ded to a­larm and re­port of sus­pi­ci­ous per­son on the pro­per­ty. Well kno­wn sus­pect was caug­ht on si­te and a win­dow found bro­ken. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied, ca­se was o­pe­ned. SAPS Of­fi­cers re­le­a­sed the sus­pect.
