This co­ming Sa­tur­day, box­ing will ta­ke cen­t­re sta­ge du­ring the Ward 4 s­ports day as four lo­cal boxers – pic­tu­red he­re with ma­na­ger Nel­son Sop­ha­zi (cen­t­re) – pre­pa­re to pro­ve their mett­le a­gainst their worthy op­po­nents.

On 25 No­vem­ber, box­ing fans will fill the Chris Nis­sen hall in W­hi­te Lo­ca­ti­on w­he­re the acti­on will start from 18:00. Be­fo­re the main bouts fe­a­tu­ring N­wa­bi­si­le Co­la­ni from K­wa­No­kut­hu­la fig­hting for the va­cant We­stern Ca­pe ju­ni­or fly­weig­ht tit­le a­gainst La­zo­la M­jo­no­no from Ca­pe Town, and Bos­sie­gif boxer U­na­thi Mnd­wa­na ta­king on the ex­pe­rien­ced Son­wa­bo T­wat­wa from Gra­ham­stown, the­se four Knys­na boxers will en­ter­tain the cro­wd. They are (from left) ju­ni­or wel­ter­weig­ht L­wan­da Ma­di­ka­ne, ju­ni­or fe­at­her­weig­ht Mason­wa­be Ma­y­a­pi, fly­weig­ht Si­ve­na­thi Za­zi­ni, and ju­ni­or ban­tam­weig­ht T­hu­la­ni Ho­no­no – e­ach bo­as­ting me­dals which they won e­ar­lier this y­e­ar.
