SHOPLIFTING - MAIN ST (T­hurs 30 Au­gust @ 13h52) – All­sound guards re­por­ted that a sus­pect was ap­pre­hen­ded for shoplifting and sto­len goods we­re re­co­ve­r­ed. Sus­pect was char­ged and ta­ken in­to cus­to­dy by SAPS. ATTEMPTED THEFT - LEAGUE ST (Sat 1 Sep­tem­ber @ 11h52) – C­lient re­por­ted that so­meo­ne tried to ste­al his ge­y­ser du­ring the nig­ht. They cut pe­ri­me­ter fen­ce and tried to pull ge­y­ser off wall. No ca­se o­pe­ned.

THEFT - MAIN RD (Sun 1 Sep­tem­ber @ 07h15) - All­sound guard re­que­sted as­sis­tan­ce af­ter ap­pre­hen­ding a sus­pect for ste­a­ling a fi­re ex­tin­guis­her. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied, ca­se was o­pe­ned and sus­pect was char­ged with theft. COMMON ROBBERY - MAIN RD (Sun 2 Sep­tem­ber @ 18h38) - Our con­t­rol room re­cei­ved a call to re­port that a la­dy was rob­bed of her bag. A ne­ar­by se­cu­ri­ty of­fi­cer had gi­ven cha­se and the sus­pect drop­ped the bag. Cash was re­por­ted mis­sing. No ar­res­ts we­re ma­de. BURGLARY QUEEN ST (Mon 3 Sep­tem­ber @ 07h25) C­lient te­lep­ho­ned to re­port that a guest room was bro­ken in­to du­ring the nig­ht. En­try was gai­ned via un­loc­ked door. A ca­me­ra and 2 back­packs we­re sto­len. Ca­se was o­pe­ned. BURGLARY - MAIN RD (Mon 3 Sep­tem­ber @ 07h25) - Key­hol­der pho­ned to re­port a bre­ak-in. Sus­pect/s re­mo­ved win­dow pa­ne and sto­le clo­thing and CD Play­er. 2 sus­pects we­re ar­res­ted the fol­lo­wing nig­ht in pos­ses­si­on of i­tems lin­ked to the bre­ak-in. BURGLARY - MARKET ST (Tu­es 4 Sep­tem­ber @ 06h00) - Of­fi­cer re­spon­ded to a­larm sig­nal and con­fir­med a po­si­ti­ve bre­ak-in. Win­dows we­re for­ced o­pen and key­hol­der re­por­ted that 3 lap­tops we­re mis­sing. Ca­se was o­pe­ned. THEFT OUT M.V. - LEAGUE ST (Tu­es 4 Sep­tem­ber @ 16h00) - Gent­le­man pho­ned in to re­port that a wee­de­a­ter was sto­len off the back of his bak­kie e­ar­lier in the af­ter­noon. CCTV foota­ge was re­vie­wed. Town a­rea was se­ar­ched but no sus­pects ma­t­ching the des­crip­ti­on we­re found.

THEFT OUT M.V. - LEAGUE ST (Wed 5 Sep­tem­ber @ 07h14) - All­sound Of­fi­cer found vehi­cle with bro­ken win­dow. The o­w­ner was tra­ced and con­fir­med that no­thing was sto­len. Ca­se was o­pe­ned at the Knys­na Po­li­ce S­ta­ti­on. THEFT FROM M.V. - QUEEN STR (Wed 5 Sep­tem­ber @ 12h17) - C­lient re­por­ted that they found 4 hu­bcaps on their property. The­se we­re la­ter lin­ked to the theft of hu­bcaps in Queen s­treet. I­tems we­re re­tur­ned to the o­w­ner. No ca­se was o­pe­ned.

THEFT - BOND STR (Wed 5 Sep­tem­ber @ 15h11) - C­lient te­lep­ho­ned to re­port that 2 men we­re bu­sy ste­a­ling i­tems from burnt property. Of­fi­cers re­spon­ded and ap­pre­hen­ded 2 sus­pects in pos­ses­si­on of a door and ba­sin. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied and both sus­pects we­re char­ged.


ATTEMPTED THEFT - LLOYD ST (Tu­es 4 Sep­tem­ber @ 15h48) - Of­fi­cer re­spon­ded to pa­nic a­larm. Te­nant re­por­ted that a sus­pect was on the property with be­lon­ging in his arms. Sus­pect drop­ped the i­tems and fled w­hen he was dis­tur­bed. No­thing re­por­ted mis­sing, no ca­se o­pe­ned.


THEFT MILKWOOD DR (T­hurs 30 Au­gust @ 06h42) - C­lient pho­ned to re­port that her hand­bag was sto­len from her flat through o­pen win­dow. No in­for­ma­ti­on on sus­pect or ti­me of in­ci­dent. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied for a ca­se to be o­pe­ned.


ATTEMPTED BURGLARY PROGRESS RD (Tu­es 4 Sep­tem­ber @ 03h04) – C­lient pho­ned to re­port a bre­a­kin in progress at neig­hbou­ring property. Of­fi­cers re­spon­ded and spo­ke to te­nant. The sus­pects fled w­hen he dis­tur­bed him and no access was gai­ned to the pre­mi­ses.


THEFT - GEORGE AVE (T­hurs 30 Au­gust @ 08h14) - Re­si­dent re­por­ted that the sail co­ver of their bo­at was sto­len off their bo­at. No ot­her in­fo could be sup­p­lied or sus­pect i­den­ti­fied. No ca­se o­pe­ned.
