trip to dog lane

Leisure Wheels (South Africa) - - SPECIALREPORT -

In the early ’80s, John Agostino was a flight steward on Australian airline Qantas. The suspension bug bit after he helped a friend bring back a set of shocks from the USA.

John had to overcome plenty of challenges in the early years and even had to sell his house to raise enough capital to get the business off the ground. The rest, as they say, is history. Today Tough Dog suspension parts are sold in 28 countries around the world.

The company says one of the biggest reasons it has become so successful is the fact that all the products are developed and tested in the Australian Outback: a right old tough place. If the parts can survive there, they can survive just about anywhere.
