“Once your baby is pulling up to stand, set some ac­tiv­i­ties up to help strengthen his legs, en­cour­ag­ing pulling up from the floor to stand­ing and walk­ing along hold­ing onto fur­ni­ture or props. Place a noisy toy on one end of the sofa, shake it to get your baby’s at­ten­tion and en­cour­age him to cruise along to fetch it. Pulling up and sit­ting down is good prac­tise for those leg mus­cles,” ex­plains Char­maine.
