Even the great­est of sleep­ers have off nights − per­haps if she’s teething or has a cold. If your child has a bad night or wakes up very early, let her have a morn­ing “flash nap” when­ever she gets sleepy. This is a short nap of 20 to 30 min­utes that will take the edge off her sleepi­ness. Keep the rest of her rou­tine as nor­mal.
