Just In Time Baby Sanctuary aims to be the loving arms that receive and nurture abandoned babies, while offering the safe and happy home every child deserves.

Babies who have been abandoned, neglected or abused are placed in the home by the court and just six babies are accepted at a time, from newborn to two years.

Many babies are abandoned each month in Gauteng alone, and most are in state hospitals for months, where they are cup fed and receive very little physical closeness. They are only picked up to be fed and changed.

The dedicated staff at the home work day and night to meet the needs of the children in their care. This includes clinic visits, court appearances and supervised visits with the parents.

The sanctuary’s mission is to ensure every baby who comes through their doors knows what it’s like to have their emotional and physical needs met. The babies get to grow and explore in a safe, stimulating and loving environment.
