Places to go, things to do, people to meet

for Christiaan and me, our label Klûk CGDT represents the culmination of two designers’ vision of bringing to South Africans an experience of local fashion that is of international standard. Each garment is individually considered, from the initial selection of exclusive fabric to the cut and finish of each piece. Bridal and couture gowns are where we indulge our creative whims, and one of the best parts of that special process is being able to share in the wedding of the bride. Our favourite weddings have been at family homes where everyone gets involved in making the wedding special. One of the more memorable occasions involved a couple who lit a candle at one end of a long banquet table and each guest in turn lit their candle from the candle of the person next to them.We have set up shop and home in Jo’burg, Cape Town and now Pretoria, and have a host of favourite spaces and places in each city.
