Marie Claire (South Africa) - - LETTERS -

I am not going to pretend that I have recently started reading magazines – I have long looked forward to the latest MC. Not just because you encourage women to feel fabulous and strong, without needing to tell them how to dress, look and feel better, but because your magazine offers real reporting on a variety of international and local issues. I was so heartened to see August’s ‘Nightmare in the Forest’ feature where you investigated what is happening with #OurGirls. I have started to feel we developed such short attention spans after these girls were kidnapped – people quickly move on to the next juicy news item to get their teeth into. So thank you for reminding us that there is life after Oscar, after Kimye… that there is still so much we need to do. – Dianne McAlpine wins a Beaucience Botanicals hamper.
