The French Riviera is the perfect destination for fashion PR Jenna McArthur, who can’t get enough of St-Tropez’s indulgence
ST-TROPEZ MAY be a French village but it is far from traditional. The narrow streets are packed with stores. The triangle between
Place des Lices, Rue Gambetta and Rue Allard is fashion heaven. The coolest spot in St-Tropez has to be White 1921 (White1921.
com), where you can sip on some bubbles, listen to great music and people-watch. While sunning yourself on Pampelonne Beach is the perfect way to spend a day, getting lost down any of the cobbled streets is the best way to catch a glimpse of old St-Tropez. The
Dior des Lices is a must-visit, as the hotel houses the Dior boutique and is inspired by the world of haute couture – it is beautiful. One of my favourite moments in the city was watching the old guys playing boules underneath the beautiful plane trees on the square – it was like a scene out of a movie. What makes St-Tropez the perfect fashion destination? It has every boutique you can imagine. People dress up, embrace fashion and aren’t afraid to express their individuality through their style.
How has the city inspired you? To dress how I want, not to be afraid to get a little eccentric and to always wear it with confidence.
Your travel musts? An oversized pair of sunnies as well as Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil and Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream to keep looking fresh even after a long trip. But most importantly, make sure to bring along a sense of humour!
