WHAT IS JOHN WIZARDS LISTENING TO?

Marie Claire (South Africa) - - AGENDA -

They shared the Glastonbury stage this year with heavyweights MIA and Goldfrapp – so who better to share their summer songs than Cape Town band John Wizards?

RAPHAEL SEGERMAN: ‘Darling I Need Your Loving’ by John Holt and The Paragons. Pretty much anything from Studio One works well in summer.

JOHN WITHERS: ‘Found It’ by Tariq & Garfield. I’m going to be rolling to the promenade with this one on.

GEOFFREY BRINK: ‘Milky Way’ by Pellycolo – just one of a couple of songs by Pellycolo I’ll be slamming all summer. THOMAS PARKER: ‘Blue in Blue’ by Frenesí. Although short, it’s super sweet. I like to think that the title is a reference to seeing the sky reflected in the ocean.

ALEX MONTGOMERY: ‘Ophis Le Serpentaire’ by Vincent Geminiani. My apartment retains afternoon heat in summer and the living room can feel quite humid. I’m anticipating this song complementing that quite well.
