ABOUT A BLOG / Her blog ( Tee is her creative space where she shares insight about her world. ‘I used to overthink it. Now that I focus more on just being me, people respond more positively.’ Though she loves visual mediums, writing is her favourite way of sharing a story. ‘Having a blog means I can write about anything I feel like. My ideal reader is someone who engages with the content, tells me what they like and who takes something away from what I post.’ FASHION FOCUS / Thithi is a go-getter – inspired by fashion trailblazers like Tom Ford and always chasing set goals. ‘Going out there and getting what you want is scary because, if you don’t get it, you need to deal with it, pick yourself up and continue trying.’ PERSONAL STYLE / Comfort is key for Thithi – a style she dubs ‘casual glamour’. From her G-Star Raw reversible utility jacket and a dress she had made from dashiki fabric to her gold Nike Air Max 1 sneakers, Thithi’s favourite wardrobe items embody exactly that. ‘I like to be comfortable and feel like myself but I also really like well-made, detailed and luxurious garments that have a uniqueness to them.’ LOVE LOCAL / Her passion for unique style and design is fuelled by a love for local talent. ‘I have this obsession with educating people on shopping locally and supporting our local industry because it’s amazing and creative.’ She describes local street style that ties into global trends as ‘worldly’ but says, ‘Of course, there are subtle nuances that make what South Africans are wearing on the street different, but a Johannesburger in New York or Berlin would fit in fine.’
