You’d think that surviving the hormone-packed teenage years would afford us the right to a zit-free adulthood. Of course, life doesn’t work like that and skin continues to react to every morsel of pollution and any sign of stress – if it doesn’t like something, it will tell you. A dermatologist told me to always leave a spot alone, but failing that (let’s face it, we never do) running a cube of ice over the blemish will soothe it and calm the skin down. Doing this and dabbing on a spot treatment like Estée Lauder’s Clear Difference Targeted Blemish Treatment usually does the trick.
