PINCUSHION

Marie Claire (South Africa) - - BEAUTY -

When Cushnie Et Ochs piled on the bobby pins to create a new kind of hair accessory, we knew grown-up hair accessories were going to be beauty’s next big thing. After setting the side part, Saadique overdoses the hair with bobby pins. ‘I like them uniform and neat, or you can scatter them randomly.’ The same offbeat approach applies to the make-up, with Liz giving a slight metallic shine to the eyes. ‘Using your finger, smear a cream shadow from the inner corner of the eye outward – no special technique needed.’ Metallic shades are reflective, which means you can get away with less blending and accuracy. For lips, Liz sticks to the undone yet polished look with a sandy pink lipstick.
