The best part is taking in all the weird and wonderful points of view. Rick Owens was inspired by the famous Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Hollyhock House in Los Angeles, and covered his models’ faces in golden leaves to resemble sacred symbols or creatures not of this world. Some called it outrageous, and perhaps it was, but we are inspired. While it’s maybe not wearable in a literal sense, designers like Zac Posen proved that molten metal could be done at home with a smearing of slightly shimmery rust across the lids. Antonio Marras brought a more matte version to the party and smudged it all around the eyes. The trick to wearing metallic? Keeping the shine to one element of the face – eyes or cheekbones but never all at the same time – and making sure skin is superbly hydrated. One tip to try is dusting bronzer just under the cheekbones and along the hairline for an effortless glow. @ntnt9 @londam_holland_ TOM FORD BRONZING POWDER IN TERRA R1 500 REVLON PHOTO READY COMPACT MAKEUP R299 INGLOT SPARKLING DUST R369
