Once you’re off the bike and ready to pound the pavement, your legs will feel like pulp. To prepare for that wobbly feeling and sheer fatigue, triathletes do “brick” workouts. That’s a long ride (35km) followed by a short run (3.5km). Do two or three brick workouts before each race to prevent jelly legs on race day.
