The K­waNon­qa­ba Po­li­ce are look­ing for the gun­man who shot a man at the Tem­be­lihle S­treet taxi rank on F­ri­day e­ve­ning.

Ac­cor­ding to an ey­e­wit­ness, S­weet­ness Wil­li­ams was hit in his arm at ap­prox­i­ma­te­ly 20:15 on F­ri­day, 8 Sep­tem­ber af­ter an unkno­wn gun­man we­a­ring a hoody wal­ked up to him and shot him at point blank ran­ge wit­hout saying a word. The gun­man fled the sce­ne im­me­di­a­te­ly.

Bystan­ders took Wil­li­ams to the Pro­vin­ci­al Hos­pi­tal for tre­at­ment. Ac­cor­ding to in­for­ma­ti­on re­cei­ved he has been dis­char­ged from hos­pi­tal. Po­li­ce who in­ves­ti­ga­ted the in­ci­dent found the spent car­trid­ge on the sce­ne.
