Sao Bras High S­chool’s peer e­du­ca­tor group mem­bers are ma­king su­re t­hey are doing all t­hey can to ma­ke a dif­fe­ren­ce in the com­mu­ni­ty t­his y­e­ar.

In Ju­ne t­hey hos­ted a pro­gram­me for Child Pro­tecti­on Week, han­ding out be­ars and cu­p­ca­kes to c­hild­ren in ru­ral a­re­as.

Man­de­la Day saw them paint the walls at the D’Al­mei­da Sta­di­um. He­re, their work at­trac­ted so ma­ny com­pli­ments, that t­hey we­re as­ked to paint mo­re walls.

For Wo­men’s Month, t­hey did an outre­ach to pam­per wo­men and gi­rls, by doing their nails, ma­ke-up, and hair.

Eats and drinks we­re shared and the gi­rls who at­ten­ded we­re gi­ven sa­ni­ta­ry pro­ducts to ta­ke ho­me.

La­ter t­his y­e­ar, t­hey will host an HIV/AIDS me­mo­ri­al ser­vi­ce to ho­nour tho­se who ha­ve lost their li­ves to t­his vi­rus.
