Move! Stokvel - - Advice -

Nakedi says AVBOB can offer a tailor-made group scheme cover with specialised rates to each stokvel group.

She explains, “Each stokvel group will be catered for differently, depending on the size of the group and type of cover needed. The group must have a minimum of 20 main members under the age of 65 to benefit from the group scheme cover.”

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

When applying for a funeral cover, stokvels need to provide the following documents: ▀ Members' basic information – including ID numbers – and cover amounts they are requesting. ▀ A copy of the group’s constitution. ▀ Each member will be required to complete an application form provided by AVBOB.

BENEFITS OF THE COVER

Nakedi says the standard cover for immediate family members include the following: ▀ A 15% discount on a funeral conducted by AVBOB for family members insured under the group scheme. ▀ Children under the age of 21 are covered under the group scheme. Children over the age of 21 may be included as extended family members. ▀ Members have the option to include a maximum of two parents and two parents-in-law. ▀ All immediate family members are covered.
