CHANGING LIVES IN HER COMMUNITY
Malihlohonolo Mugumbate (50) has been helping people in her community for as long as she can remember.
She says she wants people to feel God’s love through the work that she does.
“I help my community in any way possible from doing voluntary work to teaching the youth about the word of God. I resigned from my job as a teacher in 2013 to focus on doing charity work. At the moment, I work as a committee member at Help Yourself Preschool in Katlehong in the East Rand and at Hidden Treasures, a charity shop in Alberton,” she says. Malihlohonolo recently helped a neighbour who couldn’t afford to buy texbooks for her son.
