Q DOES HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER HAVE AN EFFECT ON MY SKIN? I DON’T LIKE USING MILD WATER. A Bathing or showering with hot water is similar to sitting in the sun for too long and getting sunburn. Hot water inflames the skin thus causing it to be easily susceptible to infections. It also dries it to a degree that creates immature wrinkles. The skin defence is drastically decreased and this leaves it vulnerable. Rather stick to mild water to avoid such problems.
