POPULARLY known for presenting Mzansi Magic’s Our Perfect Wedding (OPW), Thembisa Mdoda (35) is getting married to a man she met on the show. But a Twitter follower upset Thembisa when he reminded her not to cheat again. This comes after she previously claimed her former ex-husband, actor Athandwa Kani, was the father of her twin boys, but paternity tests revealed otherwise.

For months, the former OPW presenter has been spotted wearing a ring on her ring finger, which has a blue rock.

Everyone assumed she is engaged as she revealed no information except that she is happy. The star, who is usually private about her affairs, has now shared on social media about getting married and how excited she is about it.

The bride-to-be recently tweeted that she is spending her day relaxing and writing her vows.

At last year's Viewers' Choice Awards, Thembisa won the Favourite TV Presenter Award.

In her acceptance speech, she spoke about her experience on OPW, saying, “Thank you to the love of my life, whom I met on the show. Thank you baby.”

She later spoke to a daily newspaper and said, “It's the most cliché thing you will ever hear. I found love on Our Perfect Wedding. We are happy and planning a future together. It's a beautiful thing. He's a great guy. For me to find someone in the space that I work in and whom I totally fell in love with is amazing.”

Last year, Thembisa teasingly posted a picture of herself kissing a man who had his back to the camera. The only thing that people could notice about the man was his thick long dreadlocks.

Thembisa opened up during a radio show about why she left OPW.

In the interview, the actress said she is grateful for what the show did for her as an artist.

She added that it was time for someone else to take over the show.

“When we had negotiations I felt I needed to go. As someone who studied drama and appreciate the work I do, I am not going to lie, I didn’t feel appreciated,” she said.

She has now moved on to bigger things. She is currently co-presenting a Saturday breakfast show on Metro FM with Mo G. She also stars on the drama series Unmarried on 1Magic.

When Move! contacted Thembisa, she was unable to talk and asked that we email her manager the questions.

The manager later responded and said they are not interested in answering any questions for the publication.
