Plenty of cy­cling ac­tion in Kwambo

A FULL week­end of rid­ing and run­ning awaits those mak­ing their way to the Kwambo Coun­try Club on the week­end of 14 and 15 July.

On Satur­day there will be the ‘le tour de Kwambo’, an 80km moun­tain bike ad­ven­ture in ru­ral Zu­l­u­land.

The non-timed ride starts from the Kwambo Coun­try Club at 7am.

The route is not marked and rid­ers will have to have GPS to self-nav­i­gate.

Reg­is­tra­tion closes on 11 July al­though there will be lim­ited late reg­is­tra­tions be­fore 6am on the day of the ride.

For those who still have the legs, there is the ‘le Kwambo knight ride’ which starts on Satur­day at 4pm.

Billed as a fun ride, there will be plenty of fun and games for the three or four-per­son teams along the 20km route.

Bike lights are com­pul­sory.
