Ca­litz­dorp Cel­lar an SA C­ham­pi­on

The Ca­litz­dorp wi­ne cel­lar was a­war­ded the SA C­ham­pi­on Des­sert Wi­ne and class win­ner for their Ha­ne­poot Je­re­pi­go , and class win­ner for the W­hi­te Mus­ca­del and Gol­den Je­re­pi­go at the Young Wi­ne S­how 2017.

The cel­lar al­so wal­ked a­way with one gold me­dal, three sil­ver me­dals and se­ven bron­ze me­dals. The South A­fri­can Young Wi­ne S­how, pre­sen­ted an­nu­al­ly by the South A­fri­can Na­ti­o­nal Wi­ne S­how As­so­ci­a­ti­on (SANWSA), gi­ves wi­ne­ma­kers the op­por­tu­ni­ty to sho­w­ca­se the be­st wi­nes of the cur­rent vin­ta­ge.

The S­how was held for the first ti­me in 1833 and is the ol­dest in the Sout­hern He­mis­p­he­re and pro­ba­bly the ol­dest wi­ne s­how in the wor­ld. It was foun­ded by the Ca­pe of Good Ho­pe A­gri­cul­tu­ral So­cie­ty in 1833. The first s­how was held in the Com­pa­ny’s Gar­den in Ca­pe To­wn.
