WHILE you know you should al­ways start the day with break­fast, there are some tips we can steal from fit­ness ex­perts for how to start, and keep, the day healthy and pump­ing!

“Start your day RIGHT!” says fit­ness guru Kayla Itsines, who is known world­wide for her suc­cess­ful BBG train­ing pro­gramme. “I’m talk­ing about the first hour of the morn­ing from when you open your eyes, un­til you need to get into your car for work.” The fit­ness trainer ex­plains that she needs one and a half hours to get her day started, and it starts off with a 30-minute walk. “By the end of the walk I would have had at least 600ml of wa­ter,” she adds, say­ing she then show­ers, fol­lowed by mak­ing and eat­ing a full, healthy break­fast. Only then does she get into her car and start her day!
