WHILE you know you should always start the day with breakfast, there are some tips we can steal from fitness experts for how to start, and keep, the day healthy and pumping!
“Start your day RIGHT!” says fitness guru Kayla Itsines, who is known worldwide for her successful BBG training programme. “I’m talking about the first hour of the morning from when you open your eyes, until you need to get into your car for work.” The fitness trainer explains that she needs one and a half hours to get her day started, and it starts off with a 30-minute walk. “By the end of the walk I would have had at least 600ml of water,” she adds, saying she then showers, followed by making and eating a full, healthy breakfast. Only then does she get into her car and start her day!
