It took me quite a while, but I managed to reproduce the dovetail joint in the illustration (page 48) on my router-based jig. With everything lined up, it is possible to produce one joint (over 140 mm width) every five minutes. Proverbially speaking, the lid would not fit the bottle, so I made the bottle fit the lid. The experienced woodworker will have no difficulty in spotting the difference. By using the same cutters on an adapted template, I was able to produce half-blind dovetails as well.
