Popular Mechanics (South Africa) - - Buyer's Guide - IAN BESWICK ALBERTON

The saying about old English cars and motorbikes, “If there is no oil underneath, there is no oil inside,” is very true. As the owner of a 1950 MG TD, I can attest to oil stains being an issue.

I have used various cleaning agents over the years. Then, this morning, I tried some good South African-made Flight hand-cleaner on my open-face brick driveway. As I applied it, the stain immediately released and could be easily hosed off. I used an old toothbrush, but it will probably work fine applying it with a small cloth or your finger.

I thought about sharing this only after seeing how well it worked. The bricks shown were by far the worst affected and now the stains are virtually invisible.
