When gluing together flexible materials like fabrics, leather, flexible plastics or even wood, the most common glue used is contact adhesive. This works okay for most applications, but does not give a very strong bond. To get a really strong bond, do the following: Apply the contact adhesive to both sides. Allow it to become tacky. Now spread some super glue over one side on the adhesive and press together, and hold for about sixty seconds. Now, you have a very strong bond.
