UPDATE: MYSTERIOUS NOISES

Popular Mechanics (South Africa) - - Ask Roy -

In my January column, I answered a question about a mysterious thumping noise in a reader’s house. I suggested loose siding or trim, a loose vent cap on the roof, or even a grill bumping against the house. Many of you had experienced your own strange sounds and wrote in to share what caused them.
