Grilled hake with sim­ple SFH sauce

Juice of 1 lemon

4 hake fil­lets

1 cup (250ml) cake flour

125g but­ter, melted or 1/2 cup

(125ml) olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black

pep­per

Sim­ple SFH sauce

2 cloves gar­lic, chopped

2tbsp (30ml) olive oil

2tbsp (30ml) may­on­naise

2tsp (10ml) chopped pars­ley

Ex­tra 1 tsp (5ml) olive oil

1tbsp (15ml) lemon juice

1tsp (5ml) Aro­mat

Sprin­kle a few drops of lemon juice over hake fil­lets and then coat each fillet with flour.

Place the fil­lets un­der a grill and while they cook, brush with but­ter or olive oil and sprin­kle with a pinch of salt and pep­per

While the fish is grilling, make the sauce.

In a saucepan, fry the gar­lic in the 2tbs (30ml) olive oil for a cou­ple of min­utes.

Re­move from heat. Mix the gar­lic with may­on­naise, pars­ley, ex­tra olive oil, lemon juice and Aro­mat and stir and mix well.

Place the cooked fil­lets in a serv­ing dish and serve with mashed pota­toes and veggies. Don’t for­get the sauce.
