For far too long, wine lovers who pre­fer sweet over savoury have been dread­fully un­der-catered for. Re­cently, Perde­berg Cel­lar in Paarl has in­tro­duced a sweeter sort of tast­ing that dif­fers from the in­dus­try standard biltong, soup, and cheese with wine pair­ings. With its Marsh­mal­low and Wine pair­ings, five uniquely flavoured marsh­mal­lows are paired with five of the award-win­ning wines from Perde­berg: the MCC Pinot Rosé Re­serve 2013 with a Rose­wa­ter Mal­low, the Perde­berg Sparkling Rosé 2016 with a Rasp­berry Mal­low, the Vine­yard Col­lec­tion Grenache Blanc 2015 with a Lime Mal­low, the Vine­yard Col­lec­tion Cin­sault 2014 with a Cherry Mal­low, and the Nat­u­ral Sweet Chenin Blanc 2016 with a Mar­malade and Honeycomb Mal­low.
