Top Eskom job filled
ESKOM yesterday appointed its chief information officer and group executive for information technology, Sean Maritz, as its interim group chief executive, effective immediately, on a rotational basis.
Maritz will replace Johnny Dladla, who has occupied the role of interim group chief executive since June following the suspension of another interim group chief executive, Matshela Koko.
Dladla will resume his role as the chief executive of Eskom Rotek Industries.
Eskom said the board had decided to rotate executives in this role to ensure exposure. It said it was imperative that the role of its group chief executive be filled permanently to embed organisational stability. As a result, the recruitment process for a permanent chief executive would begin in due course. – ANA
