Delay in KFC case
FOUR of the five Pretoria men accused of assaulting Jacob Sono and his wife Dudu at a KFC drivethrough facility were remanded in custody until October 18 by the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court.
Stephen Nel, 39, Joshua Scholtz, 21, Dicky Junior van Rooyen, 21, and Marius Harding, 23, were remanded by Magistrate Motlhoki Rapulana.
Harding previously abandoned his bail application, while the fifth accused, Orckert Muller, 20, was granted R5 000 bail following their arrest early last month. Muller will return to court next month with his co-accused.
Yesterday, the prosecution requested the postponement.
