Opic chief ’s visit

YAOUNDÉ: Over­seas Pri­vate In­vest­ment Cor­po­ra­tion (Opic) ex­ec­u­tive vice-pres­i­dent David Bo­hi­gian is due to visit the Ma­grabi ICO Cameroon Eye In­sti­tute, which pro­vides com­pre­hen­sive, high­qual­ity and af­ford­able eye care.

The Cameroon leg of Bo­hi­gian’s trip to West Africa fol­lows his meet­ing with To­golese Prime Min­is­ter Komi Klas­sou on Tues­day and his tour of an Opic-sup­ported power plant.

Con­tour Global, a US com­pany, built the Lome Ther­mal Power Plant in Togo with fi­nanc­ing and po­lit­i­cal risk in­sur­ance from Opic, the US gov­ern­ment’s de­vel­op­ment fi­nance in­sti­tu­tion.
