Pretoria News - - SPORT - – Auctions Writer

VAN’S Auctioneers is preparing to auction several farms covering about 2 800 hectares in the Morgenzon area in Mpumalanga.

Morgenzon is a small farming town on the banks of the Osspruit River, 45km south-west of Ermelo and 35km south-east of Bethal.

There are no land claims applicable to the farms that include maize, soya and grazing units with “an abundance of water” from boreholes, streams and the Osspruit River. On the block will be a mixture of dry and grazing lands with drinking troughs and dams for livestock, as well as cattle and sheep camps with handling facilities and improvements such as houses, storerooms and sheds on site.

Arizona and Vaalbank farms are among the lots to be sold on March 14 at 11am at De Oude Werf Klipskuur, between Bethal and Morgenzon.
