A stellar chef
From humble beginnings in KWAZULU-NATAL, the 2016 winner of Mzansi Star Chef, Zamahlubi Shembe, has taken a culinary journey around the world, returning to her roots. During the Mzansi International Culinary Festival 2016/2015 she worked under chefs from Singapore, Senegal, Nigeria, Uganda, Zimbabwe, DRC, New York and North Carolina. But it is her home-inspired – and awardwinning – dishes that Zamahlubi shares with PSM readers.
