30th An­nual Labour Law Con­fer­ence

Or­gan­ised by the In­sti­tute for Devel­op­ment and Labour Law at the Univer­sity of Cape Town, the Cen­tre for Ap­plied Le­gal Stud­ies at the Univer­sity of the Wit­wa­ter­srand and the Univer­sity of Kwazulu-na­tal, the ALLC is the largest con­fer­ence of its kind in South Africa.

This year's theme of “Past Lessons, Fu­ture Chal­lenges: 30 Years On” will al­low labour law spe­cial­ists, trade unions, gov­ern­ment of­fi­cials, HR man­agers, labour prac­ti­tion­ers, lawyers and busi­ness lead­ers to de­bate and re­solve cur­rent em­ploy­ment chal­lenges fac­ing the coun­try.

As be­fore, speak­ers are prom­i­nent labour law and eco­nom­ics ex­perts who will present pa­pers and lead dis­cus­sions on changes that af­fect the labour mar­ket and work­place law, in­clud­ing cru­cial judge­ments.

The 30th An­nual Labour Law Con­fer­ence takes place at Em­per­ors Palace, Kemp­ton Park on 2 to 3 Au­gust 2017.
