PSG names Short-term Insurance Practice of the Year
At the JSE-listed financial services firm’s annual conference and awards dinner, PSG Konsult named PSG Insure: Meesterplan in Lynnwood Park, Pretoria, PSG’s Short-term Insurance Practice of the Year for 2015. Principal executive, Riana Wiese, heads up the office. The award was made at a gala dinner held in Sun City mid-May. Dan Hugo, head of PSG Distribution, said at the ceremony that as PSG is the largest independent intermediary financial services provider in South Africa with 659 advisers in 193 offices nationally, this award was a significant achievement. Hugo said that Riana Wiese, the principal member who heads up the awarded office, as well as her team, had won based on a number of criteria, including the following: – Quality and professionalism – Embracing the PSG strategy – Profitability PSG Meesterplan was established by Wiese in 1990 and joined forces with PSG in 2003 and the office currently handles more than 5 000 client portfolios including personal, commercial, and aviation policies. Wiese thanked her team, some of whom have been in her employ for more than 19 years, which she described as a hard-working, dedicated, loyal, and talented group of people. This is but one of the many accolades the office has received over the last 25 years, and Wiese attributes their success to their passion to build and maintain personal relationships with their clients. “We have a philosophy: we don’t want to service our clients, we want to surprise them!” said Wiese.
