If you’ve ever trained for a long, long run, chances are one of your lit­tle pig­gies has suf­fered this dodgy-look­ing ail­ment (or maybe even all ten of ’em at once). Most of the time, black toe­nails are noth­ing to worry about; but at least some of the time they’re more se­ri­ous than that, so you’d be wise to take steps to pre­vent them.
