Runner's World South Africa - - The Loop -

I never considered myself a runner. I had weak knees, a dodgy back, and had always been more academically and culturally inclined. Until one day, not so long ago, I decided to put on my (very old and very cheap) running shoes and take to the roads. A close friend had recently died due to weight-related issues, and I was sick of feeling tired. But not for one second was I expecting to enjoy running! I found there’s nothing like breathing in fresh air, and the satisfaction of feeling my body working beyond my expectations. – INGE MARAIS, CENTURION
