The network of pods, called Clouds, protruding from the sole is a hallmark cushioning feature of all shoes built by this Swiss company. Whereas earlier models featured rubber pods, the Cloudflow is constructed from the company’s unique Zero-Gravity EVA foam to reduce weight and improve flexibility. Testers found it a little firm for everyday training, but said the shoe excels when going fast.
The upper is made from lightweight, engineered mesh that uses the latest weave technology, and features a socklike inner. Testers reported it feels soft against the foot.
