SPIRITED SIPHO: I have attended some interesting functions in my life, and this one was right up there with the most unusual of them.

Achim, Sipho’s guardian angel, on hearing it was our NBF’S 40th birthday decided to give him a birthday lunch in the park where he lives.

So, Achim, his wife Annemarie, two of their friends, Sipho and myself sat down to a lunch of chicken and other delightful eats in the park where he lives and ate it all off of, what is effectively, Sipho’s bed. To say Sipho was a happy chappy is probably the understatement of the year. SHAKESPEARE: Marian Wilkens who teaches English at the German School contacted me to see if she could use parts of my article for her pupils.

Better than that, Dorothy Anne Gould has arranged to take her troupe of aspiring thespians to the school to chat to Marian’s pupils.
