Meet the sponsors

Saturday Star - - METRO -

BLUKIDS is Upim’s clothing brand dedicated to kids. It is a brand of OVS SPA, a group with over 1250 stores in Italy and other countries.

It is a point of reference for great value, accessible shopping to suit the everyday needs of mums and kids.

In South Africa, the company is led and run by Pauline C de Souza who is a director and public officer.

Blukids offers collections for kids aged 0-15, which stand out for their use of natural fibres and excellent value for money.

The range includes underwear, accessories and footwear. All products are made to be comfortable and fun for kids to wear. The collections include a lot of items customised with characters from the most important licensors like Disney, Warner Bros, Marvel, Sanrio and many more.

The company was incorporated in South Africa in July 2016, and has been running successfully ever since. It currently has three stores situated in Krugersdorp (Cradlestone mall), Cresta and Pretoria (Menlyn mall). With the growing number of customers and demand, Blukids aims to expand in the current year 2018.

The company currently has a staff of 12 well-trained employees, including the director and retail consultant.

The OEKO-TEX® certification that the company has guarantees quality and safety, thanks to the stringent tests on fabrics and yarns.

Blukids ensures that OEKO-TEX brand products are free from substances that may be harmful to human health.

The above-mentioned vision and mission statement will be the pride and joy of the company which we intend not only to execute but to hold dear.

With a wide expansion of the company in South Africa, the projections for the current year are expected to increase by 40%.

Due to the company’s international market and standard, Blukids aims not only to compete with local retailers but to be the best locally and internationally.
