Be a part of an ex­cit­ing at­tempt to set a South African record of 2,000 kites in the air si­mul­ta­ne­ously at the third an­nual Eden Kite Fes­ti­val. Tak­ing place on the huge Eden Lawns fields in Sedge­field in the South­ern Cape on 22 Oc­to­ber, the par­tic­i­pants that will en­ter­tain with their mind­bog­gling kites are lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional fly­ers from Poland, Eng­land, Ger­many, Tas­ma­nia, and more. Eden is at­tract­ing in­creas­ing in­ter­na­tional in­ter­est, and is seen as an ex­cit­ing and en­joy­able stop for kiters en route to the long­stand­ing Cape Town In­ter­na­tional Kite Fes­ti­val. A full pro­gramme of entertainment means fun for the whole fam­ily, and vis­i­tors can en­joy a wide ar­ray of crafts and food, as well as the op­tion to par­tic­i­pate in a trail run. The event is in aid of char­ity or­gan­i­sa­tion Ma­sithan­dane and all pro­ceeds go to­wards sup­port­ing the dis­ad­van­taged of Sedge­field.
