On why he was on the bench instead of Nyirenda

Soccer Laduma - - How we beat Downs -

Coach Wedson Nyirenda received terrible news of the passing of his mother, so he had to be given time off to be with his family. We worked together as coaches and, in his absence, I was given the task to lead the team (against Mamelodi Sundowns) based on what we have been working on together and I am very happy that the boys didn’t disappoint and carried out the instructions. I am sure coach Nyirenda is smiling where he is. At least we have given him something to smile about during this difficult period in his life. We all know how difficult it is to lose a loved one and we wish coach Wedson and his family everything of the best. We hope that God grants him strength during these trying times. The game we won gave him time to reflect on something else other than the passing of his mother. We will continue to push and work hard so that he doesn’t come back stressing about the position of the team after having stressed about the passing of his mother. We will continue to fight for the badge of Baroka FC.
